There's just something about the rosy aurora of nostalgia that is undeniably wonderful to experience. While this has always been the case, I think that we are at a particularly unique point in history. Modern nostalgia has taken on a life of its own. Through, this collection of works I explore the politics and culture of the past - within the present.

Through these projects, I aim to answer the following questions: 

Why is nostalgia a defining feature of culture and politics today? 

Why do so many young individuals feel a sense of longing for time periods that we have never lived through?

Does nostalgia have meaning beyond profit?
